For people with more on their minds than most people see.
You can be very successful in one area of life and still feel lost in another. Running a company, a practice or a household may come naturally. It’s the relationships, the constant pressure and the habits you can’t seem to break, like people-pleasing, that wear you down.
Many people who come here carry a lot of responsibility and would rather keep some things private. Business owners and leaders. Parents and partners. People of faith, and people still working out what they believe.
High responsibility. High expectations. A private place to put it all down.
Why we still believe in paper
Your story isn’t meant for a database.
What we do
Counseling records and signed forms are kept in locked paper files, not in an electronic health record. No electronic clinical charts. No unnecessary digital recordkeeping.
What we still use
A few everyday tools for specific jobs: Square for payments, Google Calendar for scheduling and Zoom for online sessions. None of them is used as a clinical record.
What it means
Paper records are still protected health records under HIPAA and Washington law, and can be disclosed when the law requires it. It isn’t a promise that nothing is ever digital. It’s a deliberate choice to keep your story out of a database.
What we help with
Christian counseling
Clinically grounded counseling, with Christian perspectives, prayer or scripture when you ask for them.
Trauma and PTSD
Making sense of what happened, at a pace that feels manageable to you.
Codependency and people-pleasing
For people who carry everyone else’s needs and lose track of their own.
Relationships and marriage
Individual and couples counseling for the conversations that keep going wrong.
Stress, burnout and work-life balance
When responsibility starts costing you sleep, health or the people closest to you.
Narcissistic abuse and coercive control
Understanding a controlling relationship, and learning to trust your own judgment again.
Anxiety and depression
Practical tools for worry, low mood and the exhaustion that doesn’t lift on its own.
Life transitions, divorce and blended families
Support through endings, new beginnings and families coming together.
Faith, by invitation
If you’d like your Christian faith to be part of counseling, it can be. Prayer, scripture and Christian perspectives come in when you ask for them, alongside clinically grounded methods.
If you’d rather keep the two separate, that’s just as welcome. Clients of any belief, or none, are welcome here.
“Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.”
